RRZ Portfolio
The RRZ strives to ensure continuous, demand-oriented development and optimization of the IT services.
To align the introduction and further development of IT services with user requirements, this is a cooperative process between the customer and the RRZ. Only direct cooperation—especially in the conception phase—ensures that new or modified IT services cater to existing operational concepts and generate added value for the University of Hamburg when implemented.
A specially created, streamlined process guides you through the various developmental stages.
- In the “Request” phase, the requirements for the new service are developed and tested jointly by the RRZ and the requesting office. They also check whether an existing service meets the requirements. Use the “Service design request as PDF document” template to describe your requirements. Send this to the RRZ using the below form. As soon as the RRZ receives your service design request, it will be technically evaluated and checked. You will always receive prompt feedback.
- A positive decision will kick off the “Design” phase. Depending upon the scope, the design phase may involve preliminary project planning and resource estimation as well as data protection, IT security, and accessibility considerations. At the end of the “Design” phase, the service is handed over to the “Change” phase and the associated operational preparation and implementation.
