Emergency Maintenance: Critical security vulnerability in Microsoft

Due to currently known security vulnerabilities in the Microsoft environment, critical "emergency updates/patches" will be rolled out promptly on servers administered by the RRZ. These may force a restart of the systems, which will be associated with short service interruptions. The restarts are scheduled for Friday midday, 13.06.2025. All other Windows systems connected to the central update management will also download these updates and force a restart of the device.

Devices of type "FMD" administered by the RRZ are also affected by this and the devices will force a reboot (restart) within 15 minutes (from) Friday noon, 13.06.2025.
