Request Tracker (RT) - ”ticketing tool”

The Regional Computing Center offers you the free software “Request Tracker” as a “ticket tool.”

Attention, important configuration change:
- Since February 2023, all incoming new tickets are flagged to be deleted by default after 450 days. You can adjust this as required. Hence, tickets exceeding the deletion date, will be deleted automatically from May 2024.
- Since May 2021, “clients” can reply to an existing ticket only with the email address stored in the ticket! All clients, CCs, BCCs and anyone with RT access data to the respective email addresses stored, are eligible to reply.
- Since May 2021, the new role ‘ReplyMailAuthorized’ has been added under “People.” Email addresses stored there are authorized to write replies to the ticket as well. ‘One-off CCs’ are automatically added to this role.
