Continuous Chat in Zoom Meetings

Starting now, when scheduling recurring Zoom meetings, you can set up a continuous chat so that participants who have been invited can send messages to each other even between meetings. The chat history in the current meeting will then include all messages from past meetings as well as messages sent between meetings.

The Zoom app now also features a separate section for chats. Instructions for using chats in Zoom can be found on the manufacturer’s support page.

Zoom in Browser

Effective immediately, members of the University of Hamburg can use Zoom in their web browser without having to install it. To do so, simply log in to the Zoom web portal using your B-ID and two-factor authentication. There, you can schedule or join meetings and webinars.
