Maintenance work on the power supply at the Haus der Erde on 1 August 2026 – Impact on the UHH IT network within the building

The power supply to the Haus der Erde will be completely switched off on Saturday 1 August 2026 whilst the building management team carries out maintenance on the electrical system. 

To protect key UHH IT network components in the Haus der Erde, these will be disconnected from the mains at 15:00 on Friday 31 July 2026 and will be brought back online by 12:00 on Monday 3 August 2026. 

Due to existing redundancies, there will be no planned UHH network service outages apart from the complete power cut carried out by the building management.
