Due to repairs being carried out at the Haus der Informatik (Bundesstraße 56b), GMH must relocate the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in a computer distribution room (Room BU1).

As a result, the UHH must take components offline in certain areas to protect its own active network components. Redundancy for the central components is provided via the second GV room in Bu56 in Building A, so only a few components—and thus a limited area—will be affected.

For you, this means that from Tuesday, August 18, 2026, starting at approximately 4:30 p.m., until Thursday, August 20, 2026, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the following impacts will occur:
- The data network connections supplied directly via the access switch in room BU1 will not be available during this time.
- A total of 5 Wi-Fi access points in the basement hallways of Building B will be affected. Wi-Fi in these and adjacent areas will therefore have reduced functionality or may not work at all.
