Computer workstations
The RRZ offers services related to equipping workstations with computer hardware. When it comes to operating concepts and responsibilities for these technical workstation systems, a fundamental distinction is made between whether direct support is provided by the RRZ and whether the workstations are for personal, shared, or public use. The services for the areas for which the RRZ is technically responsible (LINK) are assigned to the following categories:
- Fully supported workstation systems
- Self-managed workstation systems under personal responsibility
- Public workstation systems
For decentralized or self-managed workstation systems, the RRZ offers infrastructure services that can provide the technical basis for operation.
