Quotas and functional restrictions
Each repository has a size limit. Currently, the quota is 20 GB. If this limit is exceeded, it is no longer possible to make commits. It is possible to increase this quota if the total available resources allow it. Please contact the service line for more information.
Access rights always apply to the entire repository. Path-based rights control is not provided for the RRZ Subversion server. User groups cannot be defined either. With this configuration, which is kept as simple as possible, some other uses that are possible in principle with Subversion are probably not feasible. If you require such a use, please contact the RRZ (service line). We will then check whether your case can be configured without too much effort.
We will be happy to inform you about the Subversion version currently installed on the Subversion server. Users of the Subversion server must install a client version.
Access is only possible via https. The Subversion protocol svn via port 3690 is not available.
A Subversion repository that has been set up is given a specific period of validity, which extends from the date of setup until the end of the following year. This can be extended. The RRZ will inform the owners of a Subversion repository by email when and how this can be done.
