The RRZ runs programs on servers and procures programs for use on workstations.

As a general rule, provided licenses apply to installations on university-issued devices. If different regulations apply (e.g., home use or similar), these are described separately for the relevant products.

For various programs, manufacturers offer special terms for students, which are listed under the relevant products.

The software team at the RRZ centrally procures software for the university. Please note the necessary terms and procedures.

The RRZ has entered into license agreements with various providers. More detailed information and a list of providers can be found in the framework agreements for software for workstations.
