Access to Web Applications

Access to the web applications is via SSH (SFTP, putty, winscp, Filezilla, port 22) to the server webapp8.rrz.uni-hamburg.de using the corresponding user ID. There you will find a local home directory.

The project applications as DocumentRoot of the respective vhost are located in the directory /var/www/YOURProject.

As an additional security measure, access to webapp8 is restricted to the university network. If you want to work from outside, you will need to dial into the university network via VPN.
