Office 2021 is now standard for replacements or new deliveries

Effective immediately, Windows laptops and desktops will be delivered with Office 2021 preinstalled.

All devices supported by the RRZ with Office 2019 will be upgraded to Office 2021 by mid-October 2025, as support for Office 2019 will expire at that time. Users will be informed in advance of the upcoming upgrade by email. The update to Office 2021 will be carried out via the familiar software distribution system and can also be postponed via this system.
