Update 16 July 2026 – 3.40 pm:

Dear colleagues,

The scheduled maintenance on SharePoint has been successfully completed.

Please note:

1. Where possible, please work in the new version of SharePoint, which can be accessed at https://sharepoint-se.uni-hamburg.de/. All content and data have been transferred to the new SharePoint. The only exceptions are the workflows and content listed in point 4.
   
   
2. Any content created and processed from 14 July 2026, 9.00 am onwards will not be transferred to the new SharePoint and will be permanently lost when the old SharePoint is taken offline. This does not apply to the workflows listed under SharePoint : RRZ : University of Hamburg.
   
   
3. For technical reasons, the new SharePoint is not yet linked to the UHH login system, so you will need to log in using your user ID and password.
   
   
4. The old SharePoint should now only be used for the workflows and content listed on this page:SharePoint : RRZ : University of Hamburg
   
   
5. If you have any technical queries, please contact the RRZ-Serviceline. If you have any questions regarding the migration of workflows, please contact workflow-migration"AT"uni-hamburg.de.

For technical reasons, as has been the case in the past, the SharePoint site at “sharepoint.uni-hamburg.de” needs to be updated to a new version. Microsoft 365 SharePoint is not affected by this.

Consequently, there will be service restrictions from 14 July at 09:00 for a maximum of three days.

During the update, all content, such as workflows and files, is available in read-only mode. Editing is not possible during this period (read-only).

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the restrictions associated with the update and for the short notice.
