SharePoint
The University of Hamburg operates SharePoint, a web-based collaboration and application platform hosted on its own servers. SharePoint is available to all employees of the University of Hamburg.
SharePoint provides a wide range of collaboration features. For example, users can co-author Microsoft Office documents, maintain shared calendars and contact lists, and create custom lists to support their work.

SharePoint 2019 End of Support
Microsoft support for the current SharePoint Server 2019 environment ends on July 14, 2026. As its successor, the Regional Computing Center (RRZ) is providing SharePoint Server Subscription Edition (SE), which is hosted on RRZ-managed servers.
All SharePoint content will be migrated to the new SharePoint SE environment. The only exception is existing workflows, which will be migrated gradually to the DMS Process Studio.
Because this transition will not be fully completed by July 14, 2026, the current SharePoint 2019 environment will remain available for a transitional period. For technical reasons, it will continue to be accessible at its current address: sharepoint.uni-hamburg.de.
During this transition, the new SharePoint SE environment will be available at sharepoint-se.uni-hamburg.de.
