Installation
zoom is best used with the official desktop client.
On fully managed devices of the university you can simply get it from the RRZ-ServicePortal.
On other devices, visit the manufacturer's website and follow the download link for your operating system. Once the download is finished, start the installation program and follow its instructions until the installation is done.
Log in
- Open the zoom desktop client on your device.
- Click on "Log in".
- Choose the Option "SSO".
- Enter
uni-hamburgas the "Company Domain". - A new tab or window with the standard log in form of the University of Hamburg will open in your web browser. Proceed by entering your B-ID and the corresponding password as well as completing the two factor authentication.
- If this is your first time using zoom at the University of Hamburg, you might need to agree to the use of some of your personal data by zoom.
