What should I pay particular attention to after updating to Office 2024
- In Outlook, the navigation bar for Mail, Calendar, and People is now located at the top left. You can move it by going to File → Options → Advanced. There, uncheck the box next to “Show apps in Outlook” and restart Outlook
- Pinned icons of Office programs disappear from the taskbar during the update. The programs must be pinned there again. To do this, right-click on a started Office application in the taskbar and select "Pin to taskbar" to keep this program permanently in the taskbar.

When searching for contacts in the address book while composing emails, you must press Enter to confirm your entry in order to start the search.
