3. Authenticate iPhone/iPad
Goal: You have prepared and registered your Apple device with iOS and now you want to perform 2FA.
Note
You can also use the 2-factor authentication (2FA) tutorial to authenticate iPads.
The screenshots of the tutorial were created using an iPhone X. Note that the layout may differ from your device's settings if you are using a different iPhone or iPad.

Starting point:
- You are using a device with iOS version 14.1 or later.
- You have prepared your iPhone for two-factor authentication (2FA) and registered it with the 2FA app.
- You are using a common browser (Chrome, Firefox or similar).

If you want to log in to the intranet, for example, you must first enter your ID and password as before.

The system will redirect you and ask you to confirm the login via the keychain. Click "Continue".

If the system confirms that you have entered the correct data, the logon to your IT service will take place and you can continue as usual.
