Visual Studio Code (VScode)

Installing Visual Studio Code (VScode) on Hummel-2 requires some tricks:

• Employing the Jump host technique.

• Setting $TMPDIR for executing a single command with ssh.

• In VScode the Server Install Path can be specified at:

  Settings → Extentions → Remote - SSH → Server Install Path

  The Server Install Path should be set to a directory in $USW:

  /usw/u/bxy1234/vscode-server
