Statement on Accessibility for Disabled Individuals
The Regional Computing Center (RRZ) at the University of Hamburg strives to make the UHHCloud service as accessible as possible for everyone. This process is based on the Hamburg act on equal treatment for disabled persons (Hamburgisches Gesetz zur Gleichstellung behinderter Menschen, HmbGGbM) and the accessible information technology regulation (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung, BITV 2.0).
The UHHCloud service is based on version 2.0 of Nextcloud, which provides high-level compliance with the accessible information technology regulation (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung—BITV 2.0) and consistency with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. Further details and guidance for creating universally accessible design are available in the Nextcloud User Manual (Chapter Eight: Universal Access).
This statement was written on 13 November 2023.

Arbitration procedure
The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is establishing an ombudsperson’s office. The ombudsperson will receive information and complaints about existing barriers, play the role of an independent arbitration body, and work with those affected to develop accessibility solutions. You can email the ombudsperson‘s office at ombudsstelle.barrierefreie-it@sk.hamburg.de( ombudsstelle.barrierefreie-it"AT"sk.hamburg.de).
