Getting started with M365
1. Order / Registration
This step is not necessary for employees.
Students can book the following service by December 1:
Book “Microsoft 365 (registration)” in the RRZ Service Portal. We have compiled general FAQs about the M365 account for you in the Account & Access section.
It takes up to one hour to create the account.
2. First login
Please note the -> Login change 2025
Log in for the first time at https://m365.cloud.microsoft/, for example.
Log in with Benutzerkennung@uni-hamburg.de (e.g., bxy1234@uni-hamburg.de).
You will be redirected to the UHH login page.
When logging in for the first time, you must read and accept the Terms of Use in order to use M365.
In addition the privacy policy will be displayed.

3. Installation and daily use
In addition to all the offerings on the web, you can also install programs on your desktop.
